BWF homes in on marketing

27 January 2014

The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has launched a marketing toolkit to help members promote their products and services more effectively.

The toolkit, which can be accessed online, includes It includes a marketing template to allow firms to assess their current market and upcoming opportunities.

It also offers guidance and examples on how to set objectives, think about key messages, tactics and set budgets. Users can then set an action plan and measure activity to ensure the plan is working.
The organisation plans to expand the toolkit later in the year.

BWF training manager Dave Campbell said: “Our members recognise the importance of marketing but don’t necessarily have the resources or expertise needed. That’s why we decided to develop a marketing toolkit that is easily accessible and makes the process simpler for businesses already working flat out.”
